We love Simplisafe and have a lot of cameras. But, all the internal cameras are black and our house is all white. Simplisafe do not offer a white version of their cameras so we needed to create a solution.
And here it is, a camera shell that you can print in white to cover that awful black camera body. Plus - a complete solution to all your mounting needs.
We have wall mount, corner mount and a normal desktop stand all printable in your own colour.
The camera shell masks as much as possible of the original camera without hindering the Simplisafe camera's sensors.
This is a MUST for those who want to mask that black camera body, but also, this hardware set provides a complete alternative solution to mounting on walls, corners or simply a desktop.
Even if you do not want to cover your camera, these are the best, most flexible and robust, mounting options available for your Simplisafe camera.
By choosing the horizontal or vertical brackets that slide into the camera, you can choose whether to gain an additional plane of orientation. Omit the coupler to join directly to the wall or corner bracket, or, introduce another plane of motion by including the coupler.
The entire set has been designed to be tool free. The camera shell halves join with simple clips and the brackets are all designed to use 'star' joints that give 30 degree increment joints.
These are push in and rely on friction to hold in place.
If you want to go further and use real hardware then simply replace the knobs with M5 bolts which will easily bite into the star shaped holes.
This is by far the most complete mounting solution for your Simplisafe camera with the added bonus of a complete shell to hide most of the original black body.
